Sandler O'Neill [In Memoriam] Throughout the United States -- and increasingly overseas -- Sandler O'Neill is acknowledged as a leader in providing the full suite of investment banking, advisory, balance sheet management, brokerage and research services to financial institutions and their investors. On 11 September 2001 the decent citizens of the World were attacked by vicious cowards. 67 of their victims were my friends at Sandler O'Neill, whose only transgression was to go to their jobs at the World Trade Center. I certainly never imagined on that shoot so many years ago that I would be called on Sunday, 16 September 2001 by the Los Angeles Times asking permission to use this picture for a story on the staggering price paid by this firm, 67 out of 167.
